Ultimate Frisbee: Winter Indoor League

It's not looking warm in Ballarat any time soon, so we take shelter for Indoor Ultimate in Term 3! This social, mixed-gender league is open to all experience levels. Come and enjoy some fun, indoor frisbee!

Location: Ballarat Netball Centre, 115 Barkly St, Golden Point

Dates: 22 July 2025 - 30 September 2025

Game Times: 7pm, 8pm

How to Register:

Registration is required BEFORE the league starts as registration closes at 7pm Monday 21 July. If you wish to join after it has begun, please contact the admins for assistance.

Fees:

$12 per week ($10 for members)
Card and cash payments accepted on game night.

What to Bring:

A light and dark shirt

Drink bottle

Payment (if not prepaid)

As the weather warms up in Ballarat, we look forward to outdoor Ultimate in Term 1! This social, mixed-gender league is open to all experience levels. Come and enjoy some fun, outdoor frisbee!

Dates: January 21st - April 1st

Game Time: 7pm - 8pm

Sign up as a team member on any available team, or register as a free agent and we’ll assign you to a team.

Golden City Classic 2025

Join in for one of Victoria’s oldest Ultimate tournaments, the Golden City Classic!

To be held in Ballarat on the 1st Feb, GCC is set to be another fantastic tournament with Open and Women’s teams from across the state getting a chance to take this year’s teams to the field. We have secured some of the best fields in Ballarat at Pleasant St and Trekardo Park which are across the road from each other.

Admins can register their teams with a one off team fee, adding players to their roster right up until the event. Lunch will not be provided but there is a supermarket and food options just across the road. Registrations close on 20th Jan.

Team fee includes up to 15 players.

Additional players are $25 each. Contact the admin team if you require additional players.

Term 4 Outdoor Social League

Ultimate Frisbee: Spring/Summer Outdoor League

As the weather 'warms up' in Ballarat, we’re moving Ultimate Frisbee outdoors for Term 4! This social, mixed-gender league is open to all experience levels, and we’ll be playing with a twist—our traditional indoor rules, but outside with wind!

Key Details

Location: Royal Park, Buninyong

Dates: October 8th - December 17th

Game Time: 7pm - 8pm (multiple games running simultaneously)

What's Different?

The field size will be similar to a basketball court, with 5 players per team on-field at a time. And, of course, there’s the added fun of playing in Ballarat’s unpredictable weather!

Once registered, you'll be added to a Facebook team chat where you’ll receive all relevant updates.

How to Register:

Keep teams at 8 players MAX to ensure we get enough for 6 teams.

$110 upfront ($88 for members)

The Big Wet

With the support of our sponsor Guf Ballarat, Ballarat Disc Sports will be hosting our annual winter event The Big Wet on Saturday the 5th of August at VicPark.

Registration for this event has now closed

The two round shotgun start event will be capped at 72 players.

The Amateur division player pack will contain your choice of either BigWet2023 Towel or a 'Rat Accessories BunnyBag

Entry Fees
Open Divisions: $60
Amatuer Divisions: $40

Ballarat Disc Golf Members receive a $5 discount, please contact us if you have not received your discount code.

If payment is not recieved within one week of registering you may be removed to make room for other players.

An ADG Membership is required to play in The Big Wet 2023.
